INGA ELLEN PALOLA
Inga E. Palola, 83, Two Harbors, died Monday January 5, 2015 at Ecumen Scenic Shores.
She was born November 1, 1931 to Henry and Elma (Stahl) Hepola in Menahga, Minnesota where she grew up and graduated from high school. Inga was employed at Honeywell in Minneapolis and then joined the US Navy, serving in Florida as a photographer from October 1953 to August 1954. After her military service she returned to Minnesota and married Carl Palola in 1959. Inga enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl; and sisters, Aili Frost, Lila Suvanto, and Amy Schermerhorn
Inga is survived by her daughters, Darla Card and Donna Palola of Two Harbors; son, Allen Palola of Wisconsin; grandson, Jeff Swartout; brothers Edwin, Bill and Marvin Hepola; sisters, MaryAnn Lindula, Lempi Molenda, Irene Nordby, Edna, and Betty Dwyer.
Visitation: one hour before the 11 AM service on Monday, January 12, 2015 at Cavallin Funeral Home. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery.
