Ida Barnes

Ida M. Barnes, 92, Silver Bay, died Friday June 20, 2014 at Golden Living in Superior, Wisconsin.
She was born August 25, 1921 in Glidden, Wisconsin the daughter of William and Emma Kauppi. Ida married Stanley H. Barnes and after living in Duluth, they moved to Silver Bay in 1957.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Stanley, her parents, Stanley's parents; and daughter-in-law, Janette.
Ida is survived by her son, Robert S. Barnes of Finland, MN, granddaughter Lisa Barnes of Minneapolis, grandson Robert L. Barnes of Two Harbors, great-granddaughters, Heather Barnes of Superior, WI, and Callie Barnes of Casper, WY; and favorite niece Diane Hansen of Superior.
Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Thursday June 26, 2014 at Sychar Lutheran Church, Silver Bay. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Silver Bay Food Shelf or the Salvation Army. Burial will be at Sawtooth Mt. Cemetery.
