Henry Brower

Henry Brower, 72, Two Harbors, died Saturday June 15, 2013 in St Luke's Hospital after a brief battle with cancer.
Hank was born February 9, 1941 to Harry and Rose (Dandrea) Brower in Two Harbors, where he lived for most of his life. After high school he entered the Navy, being stationed in San Diego for two years, and then served for four years in the Navy Reserves. He went to work at the D. M. & I. R. Railroad in 1971 and retired as a locomotive engineer in 2002.
Hank enjoyed model railroading and boating on Lake Superior. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Lori; and brothers-in-law, Fred Wendell, Robert, Donald and David Johnson.
Hank is survived by his wife, Thea; a son, Scott of Two Harbors; a daughter Jenny (Randy) Egge of Lake Lillian, MN ; grandchildren, Tyler, Ashley and Jeremy Brower, Taryn (Justin) Ruud, and Sierra Egge; great-grandchildren, twins Hadley and Alithiya Ruud; a brother-in-law, Wallace (Virginia) Johnson; sisters-in-law, Yvonne Johnson and Jeanette Johnson.
As Hank wished, no services will be held.
