Guillaume Hensgens

Gill Hensgens, 78, of Two Harbors died Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Ecumen Scenic Shores in Two Harbors.
He was born on February 25, 1938 to Nicolas and Maria Hensgens in Simpelveld, Holland where he grew up. He came to the United States when he was 12 and lived in Forest Lake, Minnesota where he graduated from high school. Gill attended the University of Minnesota where he earned a degree in pharmacy. He raised his family in Minneapolis and retired in Two Harbors.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and 2 sisters.
Gill is survived by his wife of 57 years, Kay; children, Kathleen (Chris) Olson, Marguerite (Jim) Cutchey, Emily (Brian) Olson, and Nicolas (Christine) Hensgens, and 7 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until the 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Two Harbors. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
