Glenn Udenberg, 90, of Two Harbors, died Thursday, August 2, 2018 at home with his family at his side.
He was born on July 7, 1928 to Silas and Rebecca (Rafn) Udenberg in Grand Marais, though he grew up and lived most of his life in Silver Creek. During the Korean Conflict he served in the US Army. Glenn was employed as a heavy equipment operator and with his good friend, Giles Dalbec, operated Lake Shore Blacktop for many years.
Glenn was fascinated with Lake Superior, boats and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Marjorie in 2006, and brothers, Lester and Kenneth.
Glenn is survived by a son, Kevin (Yolanda) Udenberg of Colorado; daughter, Kim (Tom) Hoffman of Virginia; grandchildren, Kyle, Kevin Jr., and Nicole; great-grandchildren, Gunner, Jorgan, Lars, Soren, Alex, and Dillon.
After recently celebrating his 90th birthday with a big party, no services will be held.
