Giles Anderson, 86, Two Harbors, died Friday, April 12, 2019 in St. Luke’s Hospice.
Bucko was born September 28, 1932 in Two Harbors, where he was a life-long resident. After graduating from high school in 1950, he served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Returning from his military service, he attended UMD. Bucko was employed by the D M & I R Railway, retiring as a brakeman/conductor in 1993, after over 40 years of service.
Bucko was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He enjoyed, curling, golf, fishing trips, time at the hunting shack, and traveling with Denise.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Bucko is survived by his wife of 60 years, Denise; a daughter, Patti (Dick) Mushel of Eagan; sons, Jeffrey (Justine) Anderson of Fontana, California; and Michael Anderson of Duluth; grandchildren, Jayden, Kylie, Emily, Andy, Justin, Christopher and Elizabeth; a great-grandson, Felix; sisters, Cheryl (Dwain) Moe and Mimi (Ken) Bergstedt; nieces, nephews and many friends.
Private services will be held at a later date.
