Gary Cavallin

Gary Cavallin, 80, Two Harbors, died Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Waterview Shores.

Gary was born March 24, 1942 to Swaney and Margaret (Driscoll) Cavallin in Two Harbors where he was a lifelong resident.  He was employed as a heavy equipment operator and member of Operating Engineers Local # 49 for 40 years.

Gary was a member of Holy Spirit Church and a life member of the Loyal Order of Moose.

He enjoyed gardening, working on his family farm, travelling, and winters in Mission, Tx.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sandra and infant son, Joseph; son, Allen; and brothers, Steve and Bob.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy; children, Jeff (Amy) Cavallin, Ron Cavallin, David (Wanda) Eimer, Cindy Turnquist, Kelly Eimer, Laurie Eimer, and Dan Eimer; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Susan Stokes and Mary (Tom) Simonsen; and brothers, Don Cavallin and Bill (Shay) Cavallin; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10 AM until the 11 AM funeral service on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
