Francis Dooher
September 3, 1936 — January 8, 2015
Francis T. Dooher, 78, of Silver Bay, formerly of Albertville, Minnesota passed away at his residence on January 8, 2015, surrounded by his family.
He proudly served his country in the US Army for 21 years and was awarded the National Defense Service and Good Conduct (1st-5th) medals.
Francis is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jerry, James, and Patrick Dooher; grandson, Jonathan Rivard; and son-in-law, Thomas Rivard.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Delores; daughters, Laura Rivard, and Linda (Ronald) Lefebrve; son, Patrick Dooher; brother, Richard (Patricia) Dooher; grandchildren, Danny Rivard, Lydia Rivard, Wayne Lefebvre, and Maya Lefebvre; and great granddaughter, Brooklynn Shelton.
Per his wishes interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery will be for immediate family only. A celebration of life will be held from 4-8 PM Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Liberty Bar at the St. Michael Legion. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
