Etta Frikken
January 11, 1927 — March 19, 2012
Etta Mae Frikken, 85, went to be with her Lord on Monday, March 19, 2012 at the Chris Jensen Home in Duluth.
Etta was born January 11, 1927 to Harvey and Helen Thornton. She married William Frikken on October 14, 1945. Etta spent many years living in Two Harbors as a homemaker and was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church since August, 1978. Etta was a very pleasant, unassuming lady with a touch of elegance and a lovely smile. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Etta was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, Trygve Villa, and husband, William in 1974; Two daughters, Louise Mae, 6 and Sharon Lee, 4 who perished in a house fire in 1947; son, Richard who passed away in 1989; and two brothers, Lewis and Clayton.
She is survived by two grandsons, Richard and Robert of St. Paul.
Graveside Service will be held 1 PM Monday, April 2, 2012 at Lakeview Cemetery. Pastor Kirk Schield officiating.
