Dylan Marshall, 14, Grand Marais, died tragically on Thursday, June 13, 2013, in a car accident in rural Cook County.
Dylan was born June 27, 1998 to James and Christina ( Collett) Marshall in Knoxville, TN. He had lived in Grand Marais for the last 5 years, and had just completed his freshman year at Cook County High School.
Skateboarding and snowboarding with friends were Dylan's life, and his home was always open to friends.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Edward and Ruth Collett.
Dylan is survived by his parents, James and Christina Marshall; older sister, Dakota; older brother, Stryder; grandparents, Peter and Judy Barsness and Rick and Evelyn Idol; special aunt and uncle, Deb and Ralph Earley and their daughters Angie and Michelle; numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
An account has been established in Dylan's honor at the North Shore Federal Credit Union.
A Celebration of Dylan's Life will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at the Marshall Home, 313 5th Ave. W in Grand Marais.
