Dorothy Carlson

Dorothy Carlson, 86, Two Harbors, died Thursday, April 30, 2015 in St Luke’s Hospital.
She was born on June 22, 1928 in Two Harbors to Earl and Mildred (Peterson) Holmes. Dorothy grew up and attended schools in Two Harbors where she was a lifelong resident. On December 4, 1953 she married Wallace “Wally” Carlson. Dorothy was employed as a secretary at Jeno's for over twenty years.
She was a member of Living Waters Fellowship.
Dorothy enjoyed cross stitching, reading, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Denise “Dee-Dee” Marquardt; brother-in-law, Al Ruberg.
Dorothy is survived by her husband of 62 years Wally; daughter, Darlene (Brian) Lamo; grandchildren Scott (Tanya) Lamo, Tina (Mark) Harper, Jennifer (Ross) Brostrom, Jordan Marquardt; several-great grandchildren; sister, Bev Ruberg; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, May 2, 2015 in Living Waters Fellowship, Two Harbors, followed by burial in Lakeview Cemetery.
