Dorothy Anderson

Dorothy G. Anderson, 91, Two Harbors, died Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Waterview Shores.

She was born September 30, 1928 to George and Ethel (Olson) Dyer in Duluth, and was a lifelong resident of Two Harbors, graduating from high school in 1946.  She was a homemaker through the years and also worked at the former Two Harbors Co-op Store and Norge Village Laundromat.

Dorothy was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, and was devoted to her sewing club for over 60 years. She enjoyed reading and walking.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Ellert in 1963; grandson, Joshua; and her parents.

She is survived by her son, Lee (Crystal) Anderson of Two Harbors; a daughter, Jill (Paul) Baumann of Two Harbors; three grandchildren, Krista, Ryan (Nicole), and Michael (Carmen); and great-grandchildren, Anthony, Desirea, Kloe, Gabriel, and Elijah.

Services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Cavallin Funeral Home in Two Harbors.  Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
