Donna Sorum Anderson
February 12, 1942 — July 17, 2015
Donna Lei Sorum Anderson, 73 of Two Harbors, passed away Friday July 17, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth of natural causes.
She was born on February 12, 1942 to Donald and Lillian (Skalstad) Wahl in Fergus Falls. Donna grew up and attended schools in Elbow Lake. She led the life she wanted to live, out in the woods surrounded by the beautiful Lake Superior. She had many jobs including Beautician, Salt factory worker, worker in the Arsenal Ammunition Plant and the Post Office. She loved Family, Crafting, Traveling and Antiques.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Kay Troehler and Valerie Nyland; and grandson, Christopher Kjer.
She is survived by her spouse; Arnold Anderson, her brother Gary Wahl; her sons; Arlen (Barbara) and Bob (Mary) Kjer; her grandchildren; Don Kjer, Trisha Krouse, Joshua, Kyle, Naomi and Andy Kjer; her great-grandchildren; Jessica, Raymond, Lillian and Nathan; nephew, Edward; and two nieces Lori and Alana.
Visitation will be from Noon until the 1 PM memorial service on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Cavallin Funeral Home in Two Harbors. A private burial will be held at Silver Creek Cemetery.
