Diane Rae Holbeck

Diane Holbeck, 79, of Two Harbors, died in her sleep at her home on Friday, October 18, 2024.

Diane was born November 18, 1944, to Ray and Eleanor Fredrickson in Crosby, MN and grew up in Crosby and Hoyt Lakes. She married Michael Holbeck on February 10, 1968, and made her home in Two Harbors since that time. Diane was a homemaker through the years and worked various jobs while raising her four sons.

Diane was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, the Order of Eastern Star, the Women’s Bowling League, the Two Harbors Centennial Committee, and in her earlier years was a Cub Scout leader.

She enjoyed camping, traveling, family history, card games, puzzles, and Minnesota Twins baseball.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Richard and Gary Fredrickson, and her beloved daughter-in-law, Kia Holbeck.

Diane is survived by her husband of 56 years Mike; sons Rick (Kristina Rivera) of Phoenix, AZ, Jim (Donna Heil) of Two Harbors, Ron (Maggie) of Jordan, MN, and Jeff (Melanie) of East Grand Forks; grandchildren Kyle, Eva, Lilia, Katie, Maddie, Elizabeth, Michelle, Alec, Jayson, and Mikey; and a brother Dennis (Marcia) Fredrickson.

Diane’s sons would like to thank their dad for the extra love, support, and care he provided Diane during the past several years to make her as comfortable as possible during her latter years.

Visitation will be from Noon until the 1 PM service on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Two Harbors.
