Dennis Underdale

Dennis “Doggie” W. Underdale, 75, Two Harbors, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021 at home.

Dennis was born July 24, 1946 to to Philip and Judy Underdale, graduated from Duluth East High School and shortly after enlisted in the United States Navy, serving until 1970. He then worked for  Minnesota Power until his retirement in 2004.  On December 31, 1978 Dennis married his beloved wife, Marie Christensen.  The two were married just shy of 43 years.

He was a devoted father and grandfather.  Dennis was a passionate outdoorsman and took great pleasure in hunting and fishing.  He absolutely adored his little dog and sidekick, Maggie.  Dennis was also a problem solver who took on many projects around the house and garage.  Most importantly, he loved his family more than anything.  Dennis will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter, Amy Sue.

He is survived by his wife, Marie; sons, Joe (Kristine) and Kevin (Jenny); granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Casey and Winter and Layla; brothers-in-law, Bill (Jeanne) Christensen and Chuck Christensen; a sister-in-law, Sue Olson; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
