Daniel Dechantal

Daniel A. DeChantal Sr., 26, Two Harbors, died Friday, July 16, 2021 at home.

Dan was born to Brian DeChantal and Jackie (Prestidge) on April 28, 1995 in Duluth and was a lifelong resident of Two Harbors, where he was employed at  Louisiana Pacific for several years.

Dan enjoyed fishing, hunting, agate picking, and time with his son and the rest of his family.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Collette Swanson.

Dan is survived by his son, Daniel Jr.; mother of his son, Mercedes Moulton; his father, Brian; his mother, Jackie; sisters, Bambi and Beth (Ray); brothers, Brian Jr. (Tiffani) and Mark; his grandparents, Dennis and Mary Prestidge, DeeDee Christian, and Ted Swanson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
