DANIEL ROBERT ANDERSON
Daniel Robert Anderson, 69, of Two Harbors, died June 22, 2011 at his home.
He was born November 11, 1941 to Alvin and Milla (Jacobson) Anderson in Hayward, WI. Dan moved to Two Harbors at a young age where he grew up and graduated from Two Harbors High School. On September 28, 1963 he married Barbara E. Lind and together they made their home in Two Harbors.
Dan enjoyed anything from building his own airplanes, refurbishing vehicles, to building his own home.
He was a member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Castle Danger, a 49 year member of Local 11 Plumbers and Steamfitters, a lifetime member of Duluth Plumbing Contractors Assn., a 40 year member of the Experimental Aircraft Assn., and the President of Chapter 1128 of the Experimental Aircraft Assn.
Dan is survived by his wife of 47 years, Barb; son Curt (Ruby); granddaughter Aly; Brothers Jack (Joan) of Woodbury and Jon (Debbie) of Two Harbors; sisters Gerry (Donald) Graden of Two Harbors and Sandra "Punky" (Roger) Boben of Proctor; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dan will be missed by all.
Visitation will be from 5 PM to 7 PM on Monday, June 27, 2011 at Cavallin Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Two Harbors.
