Clyde Norberg, 79, of Two Harbors, died Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Viewcrest Health Center in Duluth.
Clyde was born June 27, 1934 to Reuben and Helia (Pajari) Norberg in Two Harbors, where he was a lifelong resident. After graduating from high school in 1953, Clyde was an equipment operator for the City of Two Harbors until an injury in 1967. He later worked as a truck driver for Husky Hydraulics and R. D. Cameron Trucking until retiring in 2000.
Clyde enjoyed his time at Kane Lake. He was a life member of the Loyal Order of Moose and the Brimson Sportsmen's Club. He married Shirley Johnson in 1956 and she preceded him in death in 2001.
He is survived by his sons, Jeff of Andover, Jerry of Two Harbors, and Larry "Judge" of Coon Rapids; grandchildren, Darrin, Jeremy, Amanda, Nichole, Courtney, and Alex; a great-grandson, Caleb; and a sister, Jo Anne Anderson of Silver Bay.
A celebration of Clyde's life will be held in the summer at the family cabin on Kane Lake.
