Carol Johnson

Carol Johnson, 68, Two Harbors, died Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Waterview Shores, where she had lived for the past 9 years.

Carol was born July 12, 1953 to Norman and Pauline (Hansen) Simonsen in Duluth and lived in Two Harbors for most of her life.  She married Donald Johnson in 1972 and he preceded her in death in 2012.  Her parents also preceded her in death.

Carol enjoyed time with her family.

She is survived by her sisters and brother, Peggy (Bruce “Pinky”) Lind, Tom (Mary) Simonsen, Mary Simonsen (Cleavy Hoover), Jill (Craig) Ellquist, and Joni (Steve) Brandt; many nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Vicki Falk.

Visitation will be from Noon until the 1 PM service on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Two Harbors, followed by lunch at Harbor Rail Event Center, 602 1st Ave.
