Carol Goede

Carol J. Goede 83, of Two Harbors, died suddenly Wednesday, August 5, 2014 at the Lake View Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 2, 1931 to Fred and Julia (Borg) Carlsten in Aitkin. Carol attended school in Cuyuna and graduated from high school in Crosby, Minnesota in 1950. She married Alfred Goede and they lived briefly in Hopkins, and Silver Bay, before moving to Two Harbors.
Carol an Al spent most of their years together in the home they loved on the North Shore of Lake Superior where they found great joy in bird-watching, gardening, and raising their beloved four-legged friends.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, and husband Alfred, and an infant daughter, Janelle; siblings, Ted, Floyd, Millie, and Bob. She is survived by her sister, Darlene (Dick) Daly; and nieces Julie (Ken) Cavallin, Jennifer Daly; and Barb (Tom) Bashaw; and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
Memorial gathering will be at 3 PM Sunday August 10, 2014 at Cavallin Funeral Home in Two Harbors. Interment will be in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
