Bonnie Jean Harrington, 62, of Two Harbors, died unexpectedly and peacefully in her sleep, Saturday, April 5, 2014; while visiting family in Virginia.
She was the second of four daughters, born January 12, 1952 to Arthur and Marjorie (McMain) Puent in Duluth. Bonnie graduated from Two Harbors High School in 1970 and was a lifelong Two Harbors resident. She married Otto Harrington of Duluth in July of 1974. She worked 25 years at Lake View Memorial Nursing Home as a CNA and many years at Superior Shores Lodge. Bonnie was a huge fan of Elvis Presley, enjoyed her “coffee dates” with friends, and having play time with her grandchildren. She was always known for having a smile on her face.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Guilford Puent, and sister Audrey Tomar, of Two Harbors.
She is survived by her children, William (Sandra) of Springfield, VA, Angela of Sandstone, MN, and Michele of Two Harbors; sisters, Lois (Joe) Klinker of Underwood, MN, Terri Hulter of Fergus Falls, MN, and Shelley (Mark) Lindquist of Hartwell, GA; grandchildren, Angel, Austin, and Glen; mother-in-law, Muriel (William) Johnson of Duluth, MN; and other extended family.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, April 14, 2014 at Cavallin Funeral Home in Two Harbors. A reception will immediately follow at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
