Billie Kempfert

Mona Kempfert, 67, Two Harbors, died Sunday, January 15, 2012 at Ecumen Scenic Shores in Two Harbors.
She was born November 7, 1944 to Norman and Florence (Rosen) Ronning in Two Harbors, and grew up in Two Harbors and Silver Bay. After her marriage to Richard Kempfert she lived in Duluth for a short time, later returning to Two Harbors, where she was employed by Lake County in the Court Administrator's office for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Susie Johnson.
Mona is survived by her sons, Richard "Dick" (Tricia) Kempfert of Two Harbors and Michael (Jenny) Kempfert of Duluth; grandchildren, Gunnar, Olivia, Samantha, Gabe, Tegan; sisters, Sandra Bangsund of Two Harbors and Norma (Gary) Rhodes of Silver Bay; and several nieces and nephews.
Following Mona's wishes no public services will be held.
