BEVERLY JEAN BRIGHT

Bev Bright, 58, of Two Harbors, died Saturday, April 7, 2012 in St Luke's Hospital surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Bev was born November 29, 1953 to Raymond and Carolyn June (Bursack) Hahn in Bemidji. She grew up in Northome and Schroeder before graduating from Cook County High School in 1972. In 1975, Bev married Alan Bright, and together they moved to Oregon for a short time before making their home in Two Harbors in 1978. Since returning, Bev has worked at the family business, Hahn Machinery.

Bev was an avid supporter and member of Two Harbors Youth Hockey, the Lake County Humane Society, and Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

She loved attending sporting events of her children and grandchildren, time at the cabin, and time spent with family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father; a sister, Carole Hahn; and a special cousin, Randy Hahn.

Bev is survived by her husband, Alan; her children, Carey (Rick) Hogenson, Jeff (Nicole) Bright, Jenny (Eric) Falk, and Chris Bright; grandchildren, Marlee, Makena, and Raegan Hogenson, Josie and Jack Falk, Tucker and Hayden Bright; her mother; June Hahn; sisters, Nancy (Gary) Olsen and Sharon Hahn; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be from 5 PM until the 7 PM Wake Prayers Wednesday, April 11, 2012 in Cavallin Funeral Home in Two Harbors. Services will be held at 1 PM Thursday April 12, 2012 in Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Two Harbors. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
