Beverly Bailey

Beverly Bailey, 75, of Two Harbors, died Thursday, January 01, 2015 at Ecumen Scenic Shores in Two Harbors.
She was born on May 6, 1939 to Maynerd and Vivian (Martin) Stern in Austin, MN. Bev grew up and attended schools in Rochester and Wrenshall. She married Richard “Dick” Bailey in 1957 and shortly after they made their home on the North Shore. Bev worked with Dick, and later her son Dale as a logger and truck driver for many years.
She enjoyed crocheting and reading books.
Bev was a member of the Moose Lodge.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dick; granddaughter Megan; and sisters Maxine and Monica.
Bev is survived by her children Dale (Vicki) Bailey, Mark Bailey, Yvonne (Randy) Wade, and Vicki Wick; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and sister, Joanne (Whitey) Saiko.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until the 11 AM Funeral service on Friday, January 9, 2015 at French River Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Two Harbors, with lunch to follow at the Moose Lodge.
