Ben Rogers went home to be with the Lord on January 26, 2018. He died peacefully in his sleep in the early morning hours. He was 31 years old.
He was born on October 8, 1986 and lived with a severe kind of cerebral palsy from birth which caused him to suffer from much pain and discomfort. In spite of his suffering, Ben always had a smile for anybody who stopped to say “hi” and spend a little time with him. He could not communicate, so we would like to thank everyone on his behalf for the kindness you showed him.
“Little Ben” will be missed greatly by us all. We know that we will see him again someday when the Lord calls for us. Ben will be able to walk and talk with us and finally be able to tell us everything he wanted to say when he was here with us.
Ben is preceded in death by his grandmother, Joanne Lopez.
He was survived by his parents, Rick and Jill; brother Erik his children Steele and Everly; sister Christina (Josh) and their children Matthew, Kaden, and Jacob; brother Chad (Theresa) and their children Wesley and Joanna; brother Cody (Poly) and their children Liam and Henley; grandparents Dick and Edna Rogers and Al Lopez; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 5:30 PM until the 6:30 PM Memorial service on Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Duluth Bible Church, 201 W St. Andrew St., Duluth.
