Ben-Richard McGuire, 32, of Two Harbors, died unexpectedly Wednesday, September 20, 2017 in Duluth.
He was born October 21, 1984 to Ben-Richard McGuire Sr. and Kimberly-Kay Peden in St. Paul. Ben-Richard had a heart as big as the great outdoors he loved so much. He came to the North Shore to help with his uncle before he passed and stayed with his mom. They broke the mold when they made Ben-Richard. He had that wonderful Irish wit, yet enough Norwegian to be willing to do anything with what he had to work with, and was a very creative artist.
He was preceded in death by his father Ben-Richard Sr., uncles Elton Olson, and John Peden, and grandfather, Frank McGuire.
Handsome Irish devil that he was, he has left a big hole in the lives of his mother, Kimberly-Kay Peden, his two brothers, Ryan and John (Alicia), daughter, Leah, grandmothers, Erna McGuire and Isabella Spencer, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 4-7 PM Friday September 29, 2017 at the American Legion in Two Harbors. A Memorial Service will be held 3 PM Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Lutheran Memorial Church in South St. Paul with visitation beginning one hour prior.
