Beau Michael Cardinal

Beau Cardinal, 34, of Two Harbors, died Friday, February 7, 2025.

Beau was a wonderful son. He told us more than once that our home was his "Safe Place". He was a very caring person with a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh. He always wanted to help others through their problems. He enjoyed having fun with his friends and many times he pushed his fun to the limits and beyond. Which didn't always end well. He was a DJ for awhile with a couple of his high school friends. They had a good time with that. 

Since he was young, he loved taking things apart. He didn't always put them back together, but he found out how they worked. He had so many talents and interests, cars, trucks, wheelers, anything with a motor. A few years ago he started building a dune buggy. Beau was also interested and understood electronics. He built his own computer. He was our "go to” guy for any tech problems.

Beau struggled for many years with mental health issues and addictions. He sought help over the years but......Even on his last day he was seeking help. For some reason the help wasn't there. Sadly, in the end his pain was too much for him to bear.

Beau will be missed more than you can imagine by his family and friends forever! He is also missed by his beloved dog, Indi!

He was preceded in death by his grandpas; Ken Lillegaard and Joe Cardinal

Beau is survived by his parents; Sue and Mike Cardinal; his sister; Lyndsy (Scott) Lindquist; nieces; Gabby & Ava; his grandmas; Margaret Lillegaard and lone Cardinal; his uncles and aunts; Dan (Cindy) Lillegaard, Wanda (Dave) Eimer, Bobbi Jo (Jamie) Hedin, and Kip (Nancy) Cardinal; cousins; Amy, Alison, David, Chad, Stephanie, Terry, Tanya, Stacie and Taylor plus many more extended family members.
