Arlene Hare 76, of Silver bay died Saturday, September 24th with family by her side.
She was born in Mason, Wisconsin on February 16, 1935 to Norma and Kenneth Vaughan. She was a 1953 graduate of Ondossagon High School. She married Charles Hare on March 6, 1954 in Mason, Wisconsin, and settled in Silver Bay, Minnesota. Arlene was a homemaker who will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and always having a pot of coffee ready. She loved gardening and spending time with her family. She was involved with the VFW ladies Auxiliary and Faith Lutheran Church.
She endured years of pain but fought it with great courage and dignity and taught us all patience and perseverance. Her strength and faith was never failing.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Keith and Kenneth Vaughan.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles; sons, Keith (Cathy) Hare of Silver Bay, and James Hare of Ashland, Wisconsin; daughter, Tammy ( Ron) L'allier of Silver Bay; grandchildren, Brian, Joel, Bill, Tina, Jenny, Greg, Daniel, Tiffany, Christopher, David and Elizabeth; great grandchildren, Luke, Tanner, Anna, Keaton, Isaac, Ian, Elisibeth, Arrica, Kaitlyn, Oskar and Natalie. Many nieces and nephews, and her dog, Annie.
Visitation will be from Noon until the 1 PM Service, Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Faith Lutheran Church in Silver Bay. Burial will be in Sawtooth Mt. Cemetery.
