Ardis Marie Cardinal (nee Hill), 74, Trenton, Tennessee, died Tuesday, August 21st, 2012. She was born on June 1st, 1938 in Two Harbors, MN to Philip & Helen (Moe) Hill. She lived and raised her family in the Forest Lake/Hugo, MN area before moving to Tennessee.
She is preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Vernette Libal Hill; brother, Ronald Hill and grandson, Richard.
Ardis is survived by her children; Mary (Tom) Peterson of St. Paul, MN, Ruth (Robert) Middleton of Trenton, TN, John (Mary) Cardinal of Sumrall, MS, Phillip (Laurie) Cardinal of Ogilvie, MN, and Raymond Cardinal of St. Paul, MN; grandchildren, Heather, Rita, Becky, Michael, Brianna, Edward (EJ), Christina; step-grandchildren, Katie, Kelly, Amanda, Paula, Dominic and Scott; great-grandchildren, Amber, Christopher, Brad and Dylan; step-great-grandchildren, Cederic, Derek, Ryan and Jayla. She is also survived by sisters, Carol Melser of Great Falls, MT, Shirley (Merv) Hanson of Seattle, WA, Monica Higgs of Duluth, MN; brother, Harold (Marlene) Hill of Plymouth, MN, step-sisters, Sandra (Joseph) Roberts of Duluth, MN, Rose (Erless) Burgess of Homer AK; step-brothers Frank (Donna) Libal of Homer, AK, John (Cheryl) Libal, Robert (Emmy) Libal and Gary (Sharon) Libal all of Two Harbors; uncle, Carl Moe of Two Harbors and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
