Annette Helgeson

Annette Elizabeth (Lahti) Helgeson, 79, of Two Harbors passed away suddenly on Thursday March 17, 2016 at home.
She was born to Carl and Ina (Niemela) Lahti June 28, 1936 in Kettle River. She attended Esko High School and Duluth Business University, and worked for the Carlton County Auditor’s Office until her marriage to Ted Helgeson on July 3, 1964 in Silver Bay. They lived in Minneapolis, Duluth, Ham Lake, and Wyoming, Minnesota, before moving to Larsmont where they built their home.
Annette loved animals, especially her Scotties - Dubbie and Barney, crafts, gardening and reading.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ted; sister, Edna (Dick) Rogers of Silver Bay; sister-in-law, Shirley Anderson; nephews, Rod Rogers of Eureka, Montana, Rick (Jill) Rogers of Two Harbors, Randy (Jan) Rogers of Rogers, MN, Ryan Rogers of Silver Bay, and Beau Anderson of Texas; nieces, Rena Jo Carey of Duluth, Renee Pearson of Silver Bay, and Kirsten Arianejad of Texas; and Dubbie and Barney.
Visitation will be from 1 PM until the 2 PM service on Monday March 28, 2016 at Cavallin Funeral Home in Two Harbors. Burial will be in Eagle Lake Cemetery, Cromwell.
