ALICE D. BRISSON
Alice D. Brisson, 83, Grand Marais, died Friday, April 29, 2011 at the Cook County North Shore Hospital.
She was born on August 3, 1927 to Christian and Agnes (Blomberg) Rude in Grand Marias. Alice grew up and attended schools in Grand Marais before marrying George Brisson.
Alice enjoyed coffee time, word finds, and visiting with friends. Family and friends were the most important to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband George.
Alice is survived by children Janice (Robert) McGregor of Grand Marais, Bruce (Naida) Brisson of Grand Marais, Pamela (John) Bachar of Finland, Margaret Brisson of Grand Marais, and Scott Brisson of Deer River; grandchildren Thomas, Kristi, Paul, Nick, Bruce A., Eric, Jason, Robert, and James; 17 great grandchildren, brothers Jerry (Nancy) Rude of Willow River and Brad (Sandy) Rude of Grand Marais; sisters Thelma Peterson, Carol (Alton ) Berglund, and Shirley Ellquist all of Grand Marais; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 12 Noon until the 1 PM Memorial service on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Cavallin Funeral Home in Grand Marais. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery.
