Alexzander Bildeaux Sr

ALEXZANDER GEORGE BILDEAUX SR.

Alexzander G. Bildeaux Sr., 70, of Wyoming, MN, formerly of Isabella, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2011.

Alex, Sr. was an avid logger, he recently worked with his son Alex, Jr. in the Mpls & St. Paul area in the firewood business. He also worked for Carlton Saw Chain Co., Tilton Equipment Co., & the St. Paul Water District. Alex was involved with forming the Stony River Township, being an original Town Board Supervisor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and Lumberjack events. Both competing in and coordinating them. He was the chainsaw champion at the Lumberjack World Championship in Hayward, WI in 1972, and many other titles in the sport. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Telling stories, having a beer or Uncle Jack while doing so. He will be greatly missed by everyone.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Dorothy Bildeaux.

Alex is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Susan; son Alex Jr. (Randi); daughter Barb (Ron) Jonson; grandchildren Stacy (Pat) Peterson, Steve (Christina Bullock) Jonson, Matthew Jonson, Erikka and Ryan Bildeaux; great-granddaughters Emily and Madilyn Peterson; brother Tom (Dona Rae) Bildeaux; sisters Shirley (Ronald) Smith and Beverly (Ole) Skogen; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1 PM until the 2 PM service on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at the Isabella Community Building. Burial will follow at the Isabella Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
